  • i25 refers to the 25-min period of lethal ischaemia and i35 refers to the 35-min period of lethal ischaemia. Arrhythmias were defined as a haemodynamic disturbance in the mean arterial pressure (MAP) trace waveform lasting longer than 2 s and occurring during each phase of the experimental protocol, with data displayed as median (IQR). Data displayed as median (IQR), with p value calculated using Mann-Whitney test.
